Love in the Time of Chasmosaurs: The Podcast!

Announcements

It’s always nice to see a long-gestating dream come to fruition, and today we’re excited to release the first episode of Love in the Time of Chasmosaurs: The Podcast!

Our first episode features Niels, Marc, and Natee discussing a few recent paleontology news items and discussing a classic Vintage Dinosaur Art title. Niels also interviews Joschua Knüppe about his brand new graphic novel, Europasaurus.

I’m not on this episode but hope to join in the fun in future installments (though I pity Niels having to edit what will surely be a nonsensical stream of half-sentences spewing from my mouth). Niels, Marc, and Natee have such a natural rapport that I had a hard time believing this was their first podcast together. Niels did a stellar job editing the show and organizing the recording, so please buy him the libation of his choice if you’re ever fortunate enough to be in the same pub.

I also want to thank two-time LITC guest contributor Rohan Long for allowing us to use his wonderful music for the podcast. Ever since this idea was a tiny seed, I thought that the music Rohan has created as Bronzewing was just perfect for such a project, and it was a thrill to hear it edited in with our hosts’s voices. To hear Natee’s dulcet tones introducing the show with “T Section Lagoons” as accompaniment brought a big grin to my face.

Thanks also to Huseyin Kishi, who helped start the ball rolling on this project some months ago, and who has offered advice along the way for how to make it all come together. In all, I’m properly chuffed to have such an entertaining and tightly-edited podcast for LITC. I hope you’ll all share my enthusiasm. We plan to release new episodes monthly, with show notes provided here in the blog feed, so please watch for them here and subscribe to our podcast feed in the player of your choice!
