New logo and merch!

Filthy Lucre

You’re an observant lot, so I won’t pretend that I need to ask you to direct your eyes upward to see LITC’s spiffy new banner. But what you likely don’t know is that I’ve uploaded a bunch of new LITC merch to our Redbubble shop! Each image is a link, so click them to see all of the options available, including tees, stickers, and mugs.

I made some in the site’s green and purple color scheme…

A stylized image of a chasmosaurus skeleton with the text "Love in the Time of Chasmosaurs" along its back and tail. The URL chasmosaurs.com is written along the bottom of the tail. The skeleton is purple and the text is green and purple.

…as well as black and pink.

There are other designs available as well, so browse around the shop and check out everything we’ve got.

Running the site and the podcast costs about $500-600 per year, and buying merch is a great way to support us. The earnings go straight to the LITC fund, along with our Patreon income. Patreon subscriptions ebb and flow but thankfully, it has been able to cover expenses with a bit left over, which gets split yearly between our contributors. This year, because our triennial hosting costs are due (and they’ve gone up considerably), there won’t be a surplus. But hey, if a bunch of you pledge support at Patreon and buy merch, it still may happen! None of us does this for the money, but we need to stay afloat, and I personally like to be able to thank our amazing contributors with a bit of legal tender at the end of the year.

Regardless of whether or not you’re in a position to support us financially, thanks so much for your years of readership and listenership, commenting here and elsewhere across the social media landscape, and sharing our posts. It means so much to all of us.
